Newsletter May 2015

Hello everyone

Welcome to my new Blog! (Ok not so new)

I’m so excited to finally be transitioning over to an online platform and hope that you are just as thrilled for this new change.

Why am I doing all this?
My intention is to provide positive and uplifting content in the hope to inspire anyone who reads my newsletters to live and cultivate their own authenticity.

I think it’s also an awesome way to get to know You better. So please do comment and share your thoughts. I’d like to hear them.

What am I hoping to achieve?
  • My first goal is to improve on my writing skills and to specifically build my skills in copywriting
  • To be a resource for those in search of solutions to everyday challenges
  • To share new experiences that could hopefully broaden each others worldview and spark interests
  • And to build my knowledge and expertise for my other website still under construction

This blog started out as a creative diary of some sorts but is now transitioning into one that includes lifestyle topics.

What topics can you expect?
  • Skincare - Product reviews and tips
  • Health
  • Life
  • Art
  • Doodles

If there’s any particular topic you’d like me to write about, do let me know.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in my journey. I wouldn’t be able to do this without You and am eternally grateful.

As always, I’m keen to know your thoughts, comments and suggestions for improvements. Please don’t be shy;)

Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletter today.

All the best,

xx

Simply veiled

My third attempt at drawing portraits. My first sketch at the top serves as the 'original copy' that I used on a light-box to draw some more copies. I intend building a series of this same picture using different mediums. Portrait number two is a mixture of pastels, pencil and kokhi pen. The minute I was done with it, I stood back and really couldn't believe that I was responsible for that. I still often look at it in disbelief. Did I? Did I really? The third version is pencil and a pink glitter gel pen. Need to work on the eyes some more. I'm super keen to start painting...

Shading

Just practicing more shading using charcoal. I'm not going to say who this is supposed to look like...because I think it looks nothing like the original hahahahaha.
